The BanderSnatch is a gear-specific, race ready 29er, at a price the wife will never even notice.
After surviving the "Apollo Creed treadmill routine" the BanderSnatch is now stronger and fitter than ever before. Every inch has been further refined and optimized to provide an even more laterally stiff frame, while retaining the signature Vassago compliance over the rough stuff.
The latest improvements to the BanderSnatch include the forward-set seat tub allowing more mud clearance for various derailleurs and big fat tires. Thanks to the "SupaFly" cold cast dropouts and refined internal butting, the BanderSnatch boasts an even stiffer rear end and bottom bracket while retaining it's svelte 5lb figure.

The ORIGINAL WetCat Geometry as designed by the Vassago founder. We havent changed a thing. Since back in the day (2005) Vassago hardtails have offered a distinctively different ride. This is a result of a perfectly ballanced relationship of tube diameters/butting and frame geometry designed specificly around 29" wheels. Here are the basic specs when concidering the right size frame for you. But the tubing and butting specifics that give our frames that "Vassago feel" are closely guarded by ninjas hidden deep in the underground lair of our warehouse. So don't ask.

What size is right for you?![]()
Nothing compares to test riding a bike, and we strongly urge you to do that. The Vassago feel is our best feature! But if you can't throw a leg over first, here are some sizing recommendations.
16" Frame - 5'4" to 5'9"
18" Frame - 5'10" to 6'1"
20" Frame - 6'2" to 6'4"
Hater Disclaimer
Any one frame dimension doesn't denote a specific handling characteristic. Vassago frames use unorthodox designs to achieve a balanced 29er like no other. In short, Don't knock it till you ride it - Unless you are a forum hate-clown, and then by all means, judge it from your sofa!
